Therapies we offer
We provide a variety of therapeutic modalities designed to help you address your specific concerns, whether you’re seeking help for trauma, anxiety, addiction, or personal growth. Each therapy is tailored to your needs and delivered in a compassionate, supportive environment.
EMDR Therapy
EMDR therapy is particularly effective for treating trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). David is a trained EMDR therapist who guides clients through this structured process, helping them reprocess distressing memories and reduce their emotional impact so they can move forward with greater emotional freedom.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a well-established, evidence-based therapy for managing anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. We work with you through CBT to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours that may contribute to your difficulties, fostering more balanced thinking and improved mental health.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps you learn to accept your thoughts and feelings rather than fight them while committing to actions that align with your values. This approach is constructive for individuals struggling with anxiety, stress, and difficult life transitions.
Schema Therapy
Schema therapy helps individuals understand and address deep-rooted patterns, often formed in childhood, that continue to impact their lives. Through this process, we work to break down unhelpful schemas and replace them with healthier, more adaptive beliefs and behaviours.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Motivational interviewing is a collaborative, goal-oriented therapy that empowers individuals to overcome ambivalence toward change. It’s especially effective in treating addiction and helping clients gain the motivation needed to make positive life changes.
